The Georgia World Congress Center opened its doors
in1976 as one of the nation's premier convention
facilities with 350,000-square-feet of exhibit space.    Today, the facility features 1.4 million square feet of    exhibit space, making the GWCC one of the top five    largest convention centers in the country.

Over the years, the Georgia World Congress Center
underwent numerous expansions to meet the needs of    growing conventions and special events. Take a look    back at how the Georgia World Congress Center    became what it is today. For more information on this    facility, please click here.

Parking
Getting to the Georgia World Congress Center is easy, and thanks to more than 4,500 parking spaces on campus, so is parking. The GWCC operates five surface lots and two parking decks-all located within the convention, sports and entertainment campus.

Parking rates are $10 or less for all-day parking and never increase due to event day activity in downtown. All lots are gated and attendants are on duty during all show/event hours. Emergency vehicle assistance is available for motorists in distress. Please click here for the GWCC Campus map.

Public Transportation

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta's state-of-the-art public transportation system. MARTA is made up of a bus and rail system that connects all parts of Atlanta.

A single $1.75 fare covers one-way bus or train trips, including transfers. If you are coming from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, MARTA has a rail station located at the north end of the airport, near baggage claim.

This service offers the quickest and least expensive way to get to and from downtown Atlanta's hotels and the Georgia World Congress Center directly. The GWCC is MARTA accessible at two stations. For access to events in Buildings A and B, use the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station (W-1). Please call (404) 848-5158 or click here  for more information.
